Political Bubbles

Friday, October 26th, 2007

Just in time for the primaries, here’s something I cooked up to waste time and facilitate arguments:

PoliticalBubbles.com

It’s fairly self-explanatory: choose a candidate, give’em a quote, and paste your code on your various websites/social profiles. It’s harmless fun. But don’t take my word for it; what do you think, Fred Thompson?!

Please, feel free to post bugs or suggestions to this entry. (I’ve got a few things in the hopper, but would love to hear from others.)

What should I do with saluteback.com?

Wednesday, November 8th, 2006

So, in the wake of the demoralizing 2004 elections, I registered the domain saluteback.com. I wasn’t entirely sure what I was going to use it for, but dammit, I was going to use it for something. For awhile, I used it to host my video response (seen here) to George Bush’s infamous one-finger salute, prior to his debates in the Texas governor’s race. But now it’s languishing unused. However, with the sea change in Congress largely complete, leading to a Democratically-controlled House and (hopefully/likely) a Democratically-controlled Senate, I’d like to trot it out for something. Hmm…fighting back, perhaps? Now that we actually can, of course.

Thoughts?
